The Laurelton Volunteer Fire Association Fund Raising Activities As you may have read throughout this website, the Laurelton Volunteer Fire Association depends on your donations to reward your volunteer firefighters for the time they donate to this fire department. They donate their time for training & answering emergency calls to keep you & your family safe. They are rewarded with outings like picnics, clambakes, Amerks games & the like. For as much as our firefighters give of their time, their families also make sacrifices. That is why they are included in special outings as well. When they sit down to a family dinner that they have to plan because life is so hectic, and that fire bell goes off, plans are unexpectedly put on hold when the "family firefighter" has to leave to help out a resident in trouble. Yes, families sacrifice, too. We have two regularly scheduled yearly fund raising activities. We have our annual Fund Drive & our Annual Lottery Calendar Drive.
