February 15, 2002: In order to clear the land to build Cranberry Landing on Norton St., this home was donated to LFD for training.
     
You can see holes in the roof where we trained with our roof saw.   Trucks are in position to begin the burn   The view from the top of our Aerial Truck.  
After we had run many drills in the home & training was completed, we burned it to the ground.

August 7, 2002: Training at the Scottsville Road Academy on extinguishing gas leaks.

September 11, 2002: One Year Later...
                        
On September 8, 2002, departments from RFD and Monroe County Emergency Services attended a Memorial Mass at St. Michael's Church in memory of the victims of 9/11.   Bishop Clark presided over the service. Laurelton was honored to be asked to fly the flag from our Quint along with Quint 6 from RFD.

This house was to be demolished to make way for the Holiday Inn Express in Webster. Thanks to West Webster for allowing us to train on the house.
